OpenGeoMap is a new project that it's born with the philosophy of the GNOME people, freedesktop standards and MONO. Our purpose is to create open software based on licenses GPL and LGPL and give to know to the OPEN SOURCE community our project, so that we cheers up to collaborate with us. We differentiate our work teams in 5 groups: Technical We need people with knowledge of the matters that it has OpenGeoMap. They are not necessary programming knowledge, only wide software knowledge related with the surveying, photogrammetry , the civil engineering and the design of maps. It is important to create the algorithms or the necessary bases so that the programmers of OpenGeoMap can carry out software that fulfills our requirements. Therefore the work of the Technicians will be to develop text reports and documentation for the new software. We want promote free software languages for students (ruby, python, mono, etc...) and help people to learn. Programmers If your you have knowledge of c, c#, c++, phyton, ruby, JAVA... and you like the open source code we animate you to that collaborate with us. This is a different project in Open Source because up to now the software are usually related with the computer one and not with technical specific matters. it doesn't import that you don't have knowledge of the matters, the technicians of OpenGeoMap will give you advice to carry out the software. It is very well that you carry out operating systems, office tools, browsers web, your web pages, but it is already hour of expanding OPEN SOURCE to paths more specialized. Don't you think this way? Designers People that wants to collaborate with us for the design of icons, design of the interfaces of the software and design of the web. It is very important the design in computer technology because the image can be an important part responsible for the success of our projects. Translators If your you are interested in the translation from our software to some language you contacts with us. Contributors That real person that contributes somehow with OpenGeoMap will have her name in the credits of the software that he/she has collaborated. |
